Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cole Elliot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hunter Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Elliot comes to the cage accompanied by Party Up. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elliot closes the distance and clinches up with Thompson, looking for a takedown. Elliot pushes Thompson against the cage but Thompson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Thompson fails to land with a series of punches.
Thompson does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Thompson tries to bum rush Elliot with a series of wild strikes but Elliot uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Thompson blocks a leg kick.
Thompson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Thompson tries to keep at a distance but Elliot has taken the fight into the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Thompson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Elliot has time to react.

Thompson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Elliot is out of range and Thompson settles back down.

Thompson throws a wild body kick that Elliot sees coming a mile off.

Elliot is trying hard to land a takedown here. Thompson sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Elliot wants to clinch up but Thompson keeps it at a distance.

Elliot tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Thompson just stands there and leans against the cage.

Thompson crunches a lovely knee into Elliot's ribcage.
Thompson lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Elliot backwards.

Thompson tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Elliot jumps into guard, dragging Thompson to the mat.

Elliot is looking to sinch up a triangle. Thompson throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Elliot's body to avoid the submission. Elliot has instead reached around Thompson's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Elliot arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
