Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mick Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Blevins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Blevins will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mick Savage!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Dave Blevins!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blevins shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Savage sprawls well. Savage wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Blevins gets slowly back to his feet.

It looks like Dave Blevins has been cut.
Blevins swats away the attempt to clinch by Savage.
Savage tries to close the distance and clinch but Blevins swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Blevins rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Savage moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Savage cracks Blevins with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Savage lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Savage lands a big right hand that sends Blevins crashing to the mat! Savage stays standing though and waves Blevins back to his feet!

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Savage misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Blevins won't allow Savage to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blevins trying to control the position from guard on top but Savage is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Savage might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Blevins jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Savage manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Savage, as that shot connected.

Savage lands a left and a right that send Blevins crashing to the mat, dazed. Savage thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Blevins jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Savage walks away with a smile on his face. Blevins gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Savage bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Blevins's head backwards.

Dave Blevins's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

and Savage connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

The fight stays on the outside here - Savage looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Savage throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Savage's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

Savage lands a hook that stumbles Blevins back into the cage. Savage follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Blevins to the canvas! Savage pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Blevins has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
