The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khalifman throws a looping overhand right but Henderson ducks down to avoid it.
Henderson throws a leg kick but Khalifman sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Henderson misses with a kick to the body.
Henderson shoots in for a double leg but Khalifman sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Khalifman moves out of range as Henderson throws a body kick.
Henderson just misses with a punch to the body.
Khalifman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Henderson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Khalifman throws out a loose jab but Henderson uses good head movement to avoid it.

Henderson shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Khalifman as he jumps to the side.
Henderson throws a body punch but Khalifman moves out of range.
Henderson shoots for a double leg takedown but Khalifman sprawls well. He's pushed Henderson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alexander Khalifman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Henderson.

It looks like Dan Henderson has been cut.

Khalifman lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Henderson circles away quickly and effectively.
Dan Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Henderson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Khalifman has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Khalifman and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Khalifman goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Henderson is rocked!
Henderson shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Khalifman but Khalifman pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Henderson looks gassed!
Khalifman connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Henderson is still on wobbly legs! Can Khalifman finish him?

Khalifman sends Henderson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Khalifman is motioning to the referee to let Henderson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

That has opened up Dan Henderson's cut even more.
Khalifman lands a hook that stumbles Henderson back into the cage. Khalifman follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Henderson to the canvas! Khalifman pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Henderson has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
