Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Clayman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Brandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Brandt will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Brandt!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandt misses with a body kick.
Brandt throws out a loose jab but Clayman uses good head movement to avoid it.

Brandt fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Clayman.
Clayman shoots in but Brandt avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Brandt throws a leg kick which misses Clayman's front leg but catches the back leg as Clayman tries to avoid it.
Brandt scoring well with a low kick there.

Clayman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Brandt's half guard.

Clayman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brandt is just riding it out for now. Clayman eventually gives up the hold.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Clayman is just content to waste time from the top position. Brandt takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Brandt tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Brandt lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
The referee is keeping an eye on Brandt - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Brandt lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Clayman.
Brandt comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Clayman has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brandt is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Brandt throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Claymans head.
Brandt gets through Clayman's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Clayman tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Clayman goes for a takedown in the clinch but Brandt prevents it.
Brandt digs a right hand into Clayman's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Clayman's gas tank.

Clayman looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Brandt is fending him off so far but Clayman persists. Nope, Brandt circles away and we're back to standing.

Brandt displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Clayman.
Ryan Brandt is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Brandt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Brandt wants it to stay on the feet.

Clayman fails to land the takedown.
Brandt keeps Clayman at a distance using the push kick.
Brandt feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Clayman's calf.
Clayman fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Clayman takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Clayman doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Brandt.
Mike Clayman is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A solid leg kick lands there for Brandt.
A nice inside leg kick there by Brandt. That's going to slow Clayman down.

Brandt lands a big head kick that sends Clayman tumbling to the mat! Brandt takes a step backwards and waves Clayman back to his feet - he wants the finish!


Clayman is rocked!


It looks like Mike Clayman has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Brandt lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Clayman - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Brandt!
