Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eli Zabitz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Lite (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lite has chosen Lights out as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Eli Zabitz! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Lite! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Steven Brown and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zabitz swats away the attempt to clinch by Lite. Mark Lite seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Zabitz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lite's calf. Lite is looking to clinch but Zabitz is avoiding it.
Nice takedown defense from Zabitz. No joy for Lite on that attempt. Lite misses with a jab, cross combination.
Zabitz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lite throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Zabitz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lite rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zabitz moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Zabitz throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lite. Eli Zabitz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lite throws a sloppy head kick and Zabitz moves out of range easily. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Zabitz.

Zabitz lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Lite misses with an uppercut. Zabitz saw that one coming. Zabitz throws out a leg kick but Lite moves out of range and Zabitz only half commits. Lite fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Lite scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

That's three minutes gone in the round. Lite fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Lite. Lite tries to clinch up but Zabitz circles away and keeps his distance. Lite shoots in for a takedown but Zabitz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lite wants to clinch up but Zabitz keeps it at a distance. Lite pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lite moves forwards but Zabitz connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Lite shoots in looking for a takedown. Zabitz tries to sprawl out of it but Lite keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Zabitz manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lite looks gassed! Zabitz takes a swing at Lite's ribcage but misses. Zabitz is looking to slow Lite down with leg kicks. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lite swings and misses with a shot to the body and Zabitz counters with a good low kick that Lite was not able to check. Lite keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Zabitz.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Zabitz works Lite's body with a nice hook. Lite tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zabitz paws at him with a jab and circles away. Lite takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Lite throws a hook but Zabitz avoids it easily. A swing and a miss from Lite. Zabitz uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lite. Lite throws a head kick that misses and Zabitz counters with a nice low kick that buckles Lite's knee momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lite shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Lite showed some decent athleticism there. Zabitz on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Zabitz tries to get out of the position. Zabitz is looking to control Lite's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Zabitz avoid being mounted? The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Zabitz blocking the ground and pound attempt from Lite. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lite tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Zabitz paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zabitz keeps the fight on the outside. Lite misses with a kick to the body and Zabitz makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Lite misses with a takedown attempt - Zabitz sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Horrible takedown by Lite or perhaps it was just good defense by Zabitz which made him look bad. Lite takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Lite misses with a double jab

Lite throws a head kick that misses and Zabitz counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Lite shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Zabitz sprawls well. Zabitz wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Lite gets slowly back to his feet. Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Lite. Lite tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Zabitz throws a nice looking combination but Lite bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Zabitz ducks under a wild hook from Lite. Zabitz uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lite. Jab, jab by Zabitz - just one landing. A telegraphed right hand from Lite misses the target. Zabitz's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Zabitz duly obliges. A head kick by Lite misses and Zabitz counters with a good low kick that Lite was not able to check. Lite is absolutely dripping with sweat - he looks exhausted. Lite misses with a wild combination.

Eli Zabitz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Lite. Zabitz fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Lite on the side of the head. Lite might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Zabitz works over Lite's head and body with a nice combination.

Zabitz seems comfortable defending it but Lite has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Zabitz is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Zabitz is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Lite couldn't care less - he's delighted!
