Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micky Hatton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Poole (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hatton kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Can't be touched. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Micky Hatton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Poole! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Poole throws a series of punches but Hatton moves out of range. Poole looks to land a combination but Hatton avoids it well. Jack Poole seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Poole stalks Hatton and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Hatton's face. Hatton staggers backwards, shaken. Poole gets caught flat footed, as Hatton shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Hatton preventing the sweep. Poole manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Hatton manages to get himself to full guard.
Poole wants to get up but he can't break Hatton's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Poole won't allow Hatton to get back to his feet. Hatton uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Poole misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Poole shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hatton's guard. Hatton is looking to stand up but Poole isn't so interested in that idea. Hatton keeping moving, preventing Poole from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Poole manages to pass to side control. Poole gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Poole throws a right hand that Hatton ducks under and follows up with a left that Hatton also avoids with ease. Hatton moves in looking to clinch but Poole pushes him off. No joy there for Poole, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Poole cracks a nice hook into Hatton's ribs. Poole stuffs the takedown attempt from Hatton. Hatton gets slowly back to his feet. Poole scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hatton tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Poole swivels and escapes. Hatton is breathing heavily. Poole throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Poole throws a sloppy head kick and Hatton moves out of range easily. Poole darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Poole performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Poole works his way into full mount!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Poole is standing up, even though he is in mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hatton moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Hatton fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Micky Hatton. That's going to take a lot out of him. Poole is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hatton's half guard. Poole decides to stand up. Poole lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Poole displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Poole lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Jack Poole dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Poole lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hatton circles away quickly and effectively. Hatton dodges the punch combination from Poole.
Poole throws a low kick but it's checked well by Hatton. Hatton showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Poole.
Poole lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Poole closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Poole lands in his opponent's guard. Poole won't allow Hatton to get back to his feet. Poole looking to pass the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hatton pushes Poole off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hatton blocks a head kick by Poole.
Poole throws a right and a left that both miss. Hatton shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Jack Poole is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Poole misses with a wild combination.
Poole throws a head kick that misses. Poole leaves Hatton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Poole throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hatton's head. Poole tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hatton is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Poole.

Poole is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Poole is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hatton doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Poole. Poole seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hatton does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Poole seems to be working for a kimura but Hatton defends the submission attempt. Hatton wants to get back to his feet. Hatton is refusing to be controlled, as Poole sits in half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Poole showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Poole shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Hatton manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hatton is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Poole wants to pass the guard but Hatton is keeping the position. Jack Poole has got the better of the ground game so far. Hatton is wriggling around but Poole manages to pass to half guard.
Poole frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Poole controlling from mount. Poole won't let Hatton get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now. Poole with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Poole tries to control but Hatton wriggling away. Poole goes for an armbar but Hatton turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hatton. Hatton content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
And that's the end of the fight! Jack Poole comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Poole has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
