Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Everett Dante (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kekoa Tama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dante kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Dont Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult. The crowd seem to be enjoying Tama's choice of entrance music: Ready For War by Daizer The One. Kekoa Tama has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dante showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Tama.
Dante dodges the punch combination from Tama.
Tama fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tama misses with a body kick.
Tama fails with an attempt to clinch.

Tama closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Dante is looking to reverse the position.
Tama really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dante. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Tama is looking to take a break and control but Dante is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Dante tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tama wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tama wants to stand but Dante is controlling his arm.
Tama wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dante, who protects the arm well.
Dante sneaks back into half guard.
Dante really is a fat lump.
Tama looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round.
Dante regains full guard. Nicely done.
Dante is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Tama frees his head nicely. Oh but Dante has switched to an armbar! Tama is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
