Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tubby Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lenwe Elendil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Paulo Santos and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Elendil throws a right hand that Hayes ducks under and follows up with a left that Hayes also avoids with ease.
Elendil misses with a two punch combination.
Elendil looks to land a combination but Hayes avoids it well.
Elendil connects with the punch.
Hayes swings for the body but Elendil moves out of range.
Hayes moves out of range of the body kick.
Elendil misses with a wild combination.
Hayes circles away from the clinch attempt.

Some bone on bone action there as Elendil checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hayes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Elendil.

Hayes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Lenwe Elendil seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Elendil has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hayes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Elendil drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hayes gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Hayes takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
