Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Christoph Schneider (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Frankie Hayes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Christoph Schneider!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Hayes misses.
Frankie Hayes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Schneider tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hayes sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Schneider somewhat.
Hayes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Schneider pinned against the cage. Schneider gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Schneider lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hayes down.
Check out the look on Schneider's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Schneider really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hayes. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hayes is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Schneider is controlling him well.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Schneider shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Hayes's guard.
