Silva comes to the ring accompanied by Tough Guy. Vice has chosen The Arcade by Hypercrush as his entrance music. Remington Vice has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Vice looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vice blocks a head kick by Silva.
Antonio Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Silva shoots for a double leg takedown but Vice sprawls well. He's pushed Silva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Vice on that attempt.

Silva darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Vice is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Vice avoid being mounted?

Vice is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Silva pulls his head out easily.

Silva is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Vice is surviving well by controlling Silva's body position as best he can.
Silva can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vice is looking to escape.
Vice slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

Silva is looking for a kimura but Vice is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage.

Vice bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Vice seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Silva controls Vice momentarily but Vice frees himself.

Vice drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Vice jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vice working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Silva misses with a takedown attempt

and Vice counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Silva is breathing heavily.
Vice forces his way into half guard.
