Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gary Hayes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hayes comes to the ring accompanied by 50cent - I´ll WHIP YA HEAD BOY. Crane has chosen TOUCHED as his entrance music. Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Denny Crane enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gary Hayes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Denny Crane! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hayes misses with a few strikes there.
Crane misses with a kick to the body.
Hayes fails to land with a series of punches.
Hayes stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hayes wants it to stay on the feet. Hayes thuds a left hand into Crane's body. A punch lands to the side of Crane 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Denny Crane has been cut. Hayes pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Crane. Hayes misses with a straight left. Hayes scores with the left hand. Crane knows he should have avoided that one. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hayes just misses with a punch to the body.

The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Crane lands a left hand.
Hayes lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Hayes is trying to break the clinch but Crane has him pressed against the ropes. Crane throws an elbow but it misses.

Crane jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Hayes walks away with a smile on his face. Crane gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Gary Hayes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Denny Crane.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Hayes tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target. Nice jab there from Hayes. Nice sprawl there from Hayes as Crane shoots in. Crane looks gassed! Hayes keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hayes keeps the fight on the outside. Crane closes the distance and clinches up with Hayes, looking for a takedown. Crane pushes Hayes against the ropes but Hayes circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Hayes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Crane takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Hayes lands a big elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hayes cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Hayes has his opponent pinned against the ropes, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Crane's face.
Hayes is going olschool here, as he tries to force Crane to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Crane shrugs it off. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Hayes postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Crane looks a forlorn figure.

Crane is looking to improve his position but Hayes isn't that keen on the idea. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Hayes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Crane manages to avoid the submission attempt. Crane is positioning himself to get back to half guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Hayes in side control lands a decent elbow. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Gary Hayes dominated that round. The cut man is working on Denny Crane's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hayes darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. A swing and a miss from Hayes. Crane fails miserably with a takedown attempt. A swing and a miss from Hayes. Hayes circles away from the clinch attempt.

A decent looking cross lands there for Hayes. Crane is trying desperately to land a takedown but Hayes is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Crane. Hayes lands a nice hook to Crane's body. Crane takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Hayes lands a two punch combo.

That's one minute gone in the round. Crane throws a combination that misses and Hayes connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Hayes lands a left and a right that send Crane crashing to the mat, dazed. Hayes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Hayes throws a shot from downtown. Crane moves away and avoids it. Crane on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Crane staying out of range there. Crane wants to clinch up but Hayes keeps it at a distance. Crane takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Hayes lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Hayes moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Crane takes a jab right on the kisser.
Hayes shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hayes showed some decent athleticism there. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Crane is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hayes pulls his head out easily. Hayes looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hayes seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Hayes stops Crane from getting back to his feet.
Hayes slips a nice elbow through Crane's hands, connecting with Crane's forehead. Hayes working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Hayes scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Hayes throwing shots but Crane is blocking nicely. Crane tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Crane pushes Hayes off looking to stand but Hayes dives back in and keeps control.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Crane looking for submissions off his back. Hayes works his foot free and advances to mount. Crane tries to get back to half guard but can't. Hayes is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Crane has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Crane regains half guard. Crane wants to improve his position but Hayes is controlling well.

Crane is desperately trying to improve his position but Hayes has a good base and remains in mount. Gary Hayes overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Hayes wants to control the pace but Crane is squirming around nicely. Hayes breaks from Crane's wrist control and lands an elbow. Crane is wriggling around trying to escape.

So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Donk. Hayes catches Crane right on the button with a cross. Hayes misses with a straight right. Crane throws a leg kick but Hayes moved away. Hayes cracks Crane with a good jab. Crane has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Crane tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hayes swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hayes looks to score with a jab to the body but Crane is just out of range. Hayes is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Crane can do to turn this around? Crane drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hayes manages to work his way to half guard, despite Crane's best efforts. Hayes gets full guard. Hayes bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crane's guard. Hayes postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hayes got a little sloppy there for a moment and Crane has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Hayes has managed to get both his arms back between Crane's legs - danger averted. Crane is looking for a triangle here but Hayes uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hayes lands a nice forearm strike. Crane tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hayes wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Hayes works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Crane is trying to improve his position. Hayes working the head and body with strikes. Crane is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Hayes is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Hayes is trying to work for a kimura but Crane is defending well.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hayes won't allow Crane to sweep him here. Hayes content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Hayes is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Crane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Hayes cracks Crane with a solid left hand.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Crane misses with a straight right. Hayes lands with a straight right. Crane didn't see that one coming. Crane walks into a straight right hand from Hayes. Crane gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hayes. Hayes chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Crane can pounce on him.

Crane will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Crane throws a looping overhand right but Hayes ducks down to avoid it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hayes shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Hayes was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Crane is squirming around, avoiding Hayes's attempts to control the action. Crane working to try and regain half guard.
Gary Hayes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Crane manages to regain half guard. Good work. Crane misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Hayes decides to stand up. Denny Crane has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hayes closes the distance and lands a one-two. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Hayes changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Gary Hayes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hayes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
