The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Skjelbred shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hanson pinned against the cage. Hanson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hanson swats away the attempt to clinch by Skjelbred.
Hanson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hanson tries to keep at a distance but Skjelbred has taken the fight into the clinch.
Skjelbred has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hanson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
