Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Flex Steele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Beckenbauer Franz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Steele drives through and clinches with Franz against the cage.
Steele lands an elbow inside.

Franz drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Franz wants the takedown. Steele is fighting it off but Franz persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Steele's guard against the cage.
Steele manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Steele punching from mount but Franz doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Franz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Steele. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Poor strikes thrown by Steele there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Franz suckers Steele into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Franz is now in Steele's guard!

Steele bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Franz's guard.

Steele has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Steele postures up in Franz's guard and throws a big left but Franz blocks it.
Franz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Steele controls the pace.

Steele is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Franz can do anything to dispel that myth.
Steele postures up in Franz's guard and throws a big left but Franz blocks it.

Steele loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Steele closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Franz to the mat! Franz manages to get full guard.

Steele throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Franz works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Steele is looking to work some ground and pound but Franz has wrist control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Franz tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Good leg kick by Steele there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Steele moves into the clinch successfully.
Steele pushes off an throws an elbow but Franz leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Steele for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Franz takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Steele comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Steele creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Franz's defenses.
Beckenbauer Franz's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Beckenbauer Franz's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
