The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Plecas has closed the distance and engaged Misza in a clinch.
Misza jumps guard and drags Plecas to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Plecas would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Plecas wants to control from the top but Misza keeps moving.

and Misza counters with a single leg into guard. Plecas didn't expect that.

You get the feeling that Plecas really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Plecas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Plecas tries to get out of the position.

Misza looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
It looks like Tomasz Misza has been cut.
Plecas lands with a nice combination. Misza backs away looking to recover.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Plecas.
A left and a right from Plecas both land. Nice combination.
Plecas connects with a solid leg kick.
Plecas scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Plecas tries to close the distance and clinch but Misza swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Misza is looking to clinch.
Plecas throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Misza's head.
Misza will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Dejan Plecas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tomasz Misza.
Misza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Plecas swivels and escapes.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Plecas.
Misza shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Plecas but Plecas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Misza counters with a nice double leg into side control. Plecas won't be happy with that.
Misza has hold of Plecas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Plecas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Misza cranks the arm and Plecas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Plecas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
