Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Dynamo MacKenzie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacky Cheung (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cheung is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Police Story Theme. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jacky Cheung!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cheung takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
MacKenzie swings for the body but Cheung moves out of range.
MacKenzie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
MacKenzie ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Cheung drives through with a takedown into guard.
MacKenzie managing to control the position.
MacKenzie tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Cheung trying to control but MacKenzie is working from the bottom.
MacKenzie looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Cheung tries to free his leg and advance position but MacKenzie is retaining full guard.
MacKenzie is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Cheung must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
MacKenzie being controlled here, momentarily.

MacKenzie is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
MacKenzie tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Cheung has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Cheung wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Cheung has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. MacKenzie is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Cheung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Cheung tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but MacKenzie was well out of range. Poor timing from Cheung.
MacKenzie throws an overhand right that lands on Cheung's shoulder, as Cheung tries to avoid the shot.

Cheung closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
MacKenzie is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Cheung is controlling him well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
MacKenzie is not content to let Cheung control the position.
MacKenzie tries to buck Cheung off but Cheung is having none of it.
MacKenzie parries the strikes from Cheung easily there. Cheung is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable MacKenzie to escape.

MacKenzie is looking for a sweep.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Cheung shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. MacKenzie defends it nicely.
Cheung ducks under a wild hook from MacKenzie.
MacKenzie misses with a looping left.
MacKenzie takes a body punch but keeps moving.

MacKenzie slips under a jab from Cheung.
MacKenzie loads up on a big right hand but Cheung slips the punch.
MacKenzie misses with a body shot.
Cheung is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by MacKenzie.

MacKenzie swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cheung blocks a jab.
MacKenzie swings for the body but Cheung moves out of range.
Nice body punch from Cheung.
A slow jab from MacKenzie misses its intended target.
Cheung uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by MacKenzie.
MacKenzie is breathing heavily.
A cross from Cheung lands.


It looks like Dynamo MacKenzie has been cut.
MacKenzie swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cheung counters with a nice body shot.
Cheung looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? MacKenzie is fending him off so far but Cheung persists. Nope, MacKenzie circles away and we're back to standing.
Dynamo MacKenzie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacky Cheung.
MacKenzie displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Cheung throws out the jab.
MacKenzie throws a lazy right hand but Cheung sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
MacKenzie misses with a looping right.
Cheung misses with a body shot.
Cheung avoids the body shot from MacKenzie.
Nice defenses there by MacKenzie.
Cheung misses with a straight right.
Dynamo MacKenzie is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
MacKenzie throws a body punch but Cheung moves out of range.
Cheung takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

MacKenzie throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Cheung throws a shot from downtown. MacKenzie moves away and avoids it.
MacKenzie uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cheung.
MacKenzie lands a nice hook to Cheung's body. Cheung takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cheung is defended easily by MacKenzie.
Cheung shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as MacKenzie sprawls well. MacKenzie wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cheung gets slowly back to his feet.
Jacky Cheung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
MacKenzie lands a really nice looking cross but Cheung seems unphased.

Cheung just misses with a punch to the body.
MacKenzie uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Cheung has time to react.

MacKenzie connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
MacKenzie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Cheung keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Jacky Cheung is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MacKenzie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

MacKenzie measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Cheung! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
