PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Castle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shinwi Bolo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Castle comes to the cage accompanied by In Time. Bolo has chosen Let's go! as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Shinwi Bolo!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Gwen Towbar.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle scores with a nice body kick.
A cross from Castle lands.
Bolo stuffs the takedown attempt from Castle. Castle gets slowly back to his feet.
Castle tries to clinch but Bolo moves out of range.
Castle tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bolo paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bolo missing with a left hand there. Castle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Castle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Castle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
You get the feeling that Bolo really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Castle is landing with some decent strikes but Bolo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Castle takes Bolo's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Bolo is in trouble.

Castle lands a couple of good shots to his opponent's body and a final shot to the head. Good little attack there by Castle.
Castle thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

Castle looking to break Bolo's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bolo remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Castle will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!

Castle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Castle is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bolo defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Bolo manages to reverse the position and now he's in Castle's guard. Nice work there by Bolo.
Castle bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bolo's guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Castle working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Bolo looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Castle wants to pass the guard but Bolo is keeping the position.

Castle drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bolo dives on top into guard.
Castle wants to sweep here but Bolo controlling him for the moment.
Bolo would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Castle lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bolo!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
