Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dupree Holton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Bryant (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bryant is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Atreyu-Honor. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holton has Bryant up against the cage in a clinch.
Holton is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Holton manages to break the clinch.
Holton shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bryant's guard.
Bryant looking to control.
Bryant working for a triangle but Holton defends it easily.

Bryant is trying to keep Holton in close.

Bryant is looking to stand back up but Holton counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bryant.
Holton lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Holton in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Holton cracks Bryant with a big right hand but Bryant just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Bryant takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Holton tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Bryant is not in a great position here, taking some shots.

Holton decides to stand back up.
Holton lands the left hand.
Holton takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Bryant has his takedown stuffed
and Holton counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Holton.
Bryant trying to stall but Holton improves his position.
Holton on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Holton misses with an elbow strike.
Bryant jumps guard but Holton stands there with Bryant around his waist. Bryant gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Holton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Bryant clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Bryant turns into Holton and is now in his guard.
Holton looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Holton striking off his back but it's not causing Bryant any problems.

Bryant drops back looking for a leg! Holton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Holton manages to kick Bryant off! Bryant jumps back into Holton's guard.
Holton looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bryant is one step ahead there.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Bryant is looking to clinch.
Holton scores a takedown into full mount!
Bryant is trying desperately to improve position.
Holton lands a heavy elbow.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

so Holton counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Bryant not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Holton in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Holton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Holton with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bryant lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Holton!
Bryant thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Bryant wants to control the pace but Holton is squirming around nicely.
Bryant is breathing heavily.
Holton swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Bryant wants to get back to his feet but Holton is holding on tight.

Holton slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Holton wants to get back to full guard.
Holton slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Holton tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Bryant thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Bryant wants to control from the top but Holton keeps moving.
Bryant passes into half guard.
Bryant wants to lay and pray for a moment but Holton keeps working.

Holton wants to get back to full guard.
Bryant passes to full mount!
Bryant is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Holton is forced to tap! Great finish!
