Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Herra Vamma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JB Nepp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nepp shoots for a double leg takedown but Vamma sprawls well. He's pushed Nepp's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vamma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Nepp fails to land the takedown.
A nice leg kick lands there from Vamma.
Vamma tries a head kick but it misses.
Nepp goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Vamma closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Nepp has had enough of the clinch but Vamma keeps him there for the moment.
Nepp tries to pull guard but Vamma won't allow it.
Herra Vamma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JB Nepp.
Nepp jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Vamma walks away with a smile on his face. Nepp gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Vamma lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nepp circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nepp is defended easily by Vamma.
A head kick misses from Vamma.
Nepp wants to land a leg kick but Vamma is out of range.
Nepp wants to clinch
and Vamma counters into the clinch. Nicely done.

Nepp is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Nepp is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Vamma with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Nepp tries to pull guard but Vamma holds him up against the cage and eventually Nepp drops back down to his feet.
Nepp goes for a takedown attempt but Vamma pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Vamma thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Nepp if he has to take too many more of those.
Nepp looks gassed!
Vamma is looking to clinch but Nepp is avoiding it.
A slapping leg kick lands for Vamma.
Vamma throws a lazy head kick
and Nepp counters with a leg kick.
A head kick from Vamma lands but Nepp takes it in his stride.
Nepp fails with the takedown
and Vamma counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Nepp's guard now.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Vamma stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Vamma clinches up with Nepp and pushes him back against the cage.
Vamma manages to break the clinch.
Vamma lands a nice leg kick that just misses Nepp's sensitive parts.
Nepp stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Vamma.
Vamma tries to close the distance and clinch but Nepp swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Vamma pulls out of a head kick attempt.
The fight stays on the outside here - Vamma looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vamma has Nepp up against the cage in a clinch.
Vamma breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Nepp counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Nepp closes the distance and clinches up with Vamma, looking for a takedown. Nepp pushes Vamma against the cage but Vamma circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Nepp counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Vamma!
Nepp goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Vamma is on top in guard.

Nepp controls Vamma momentarily but Vamma frees himself.

Vamma wants to control from the top but Nepp keeps moving.
Nepp wants to sweep here but Vamma controlling him for the moment.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Vamma wants to control from the top but Nepp keeps moving.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Vamma gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nepp to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Nepp lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Nepp throws a sloppy head kick
and Vamma counters with a head kick. That will keep Nepp thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Nepp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Vamma closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Vamma breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nepp, as that shot connected.
Vamma moves into range and clinches up with Nepp.

Vamma using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Nepp has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Vamma misses with a knee to the head.
Nepp pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Vamma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Nepp lands a front kick.
Nepp shoots in but Vamma avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Nepp gets the takedown into side control.
Nepp tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Vamma bucks up and tries to throw Nepp off but instead Nepp has got his back!

Nepp is controlling his opponent, waiting for an opportunity to finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

JB Nepp showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Vamma's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Nepp has Vamma pressed against the cage, preventing Vamma from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Vamma throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nepp blocks it with crossed arms.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Nepp drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Vamma gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Nepp gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Vamma regains guard.

Nepp advances to half guard.

Nepp is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Vamma!
Nepp is working for a guillotine from mount but Vamma frees his head quite easily.

Nepp throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Vamma because Nepp loaded up on that one.
Vamma tries to reverse the position but Nepp maintains control.

Vamma tries to lock up and control but Nepp gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
JB Nepp has got the better of the ground game so far.
Nepp fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Nepp cracks Vamma with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Vamma tries to hold on but Nepp pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Nepp working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Vamma turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Nepp off and cradles Vamma's limp body as Nepp celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). JB Nepp!
