Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Palaver (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Husstle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Husstle is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Palaver! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mark Husstle! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Husstle lands a head kick!
Palaver shoots for a double leg takedown but Husstle sprawls well. He's pushed Palaver's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Husstle pushes Palaver up against the cage in a clinch. A head punch blocked on the inside by Husstle. Husstle trying to control the position but instead, Palaver has worked for underhooks and has pushed Husstle into the cage. Husstle tries to pull guard but Palaver won't allow it.
Husstle breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Palaver keeps the fight on the outside. Husstle tries to clinch but Palaver moves out of range. Husstle shoots in and drives through. Palaver sprawls well. Husstle looks gassed! Palaver has his takedown stuffed and Husstle counters by clinching up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Palaver lands a left hand.
Palaver misses with a hook from the clinch. Palaver lands with a short head shot on the inside. Husstle is pressed up against the cage. Palaver has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Husstle down to the mat. Husstle avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for George Palaver. That's going to take a lot out of him. Palaver staying out of range there. Husstle throws a nice looking combination but Palaver bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Husstle throws a head kick that misses. Husstle throws a right hand that Palaver ducks under and follows up with a left that Palaver also avoids with ease. Husstle wants to clinch up but Palaver keeps it at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Palaver has his takedown stuffed and Husstle counters with a shoot takedown. Palaver fights it but they end up in guard. Palaver is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Husstle stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Palaver has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Husstle manages to get his head free but now Palaver has transitioned to an armbar! Husstle grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Palaver! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). George Palaver!
