Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Macedo fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Capone avoids it really well and circles away.
Capone closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Macedo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Capone works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Capone is looking to take a break and control but Macedo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Macedo takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.

Capone is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Macedo is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
