Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jonny Terror! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Percy Evans! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Terror thuds a left hand into Evans's body. Terror waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Evans. Evans throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice cross by Terror. Terror throws an overhand right that lands on Evans's shoulder, as Evans tries to avoid the shot. Terror scores a takedown into full mount! Terror goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Evans turns into him and now he's in Terror's guard.
Terror preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Evans looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Terror looking for a sweep. Not yet Terror, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Terror preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Terror looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Evans throws a big right hand that misses.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Evans fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Terror lands with a straight right. Evans didn't see that one coming. Evans throws a series of punches but Terror moves out of range. Evans shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Terror is trying to maintain the position but Evans is very close to passing his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Evans throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Terror trying to control here.
Terror tries to roll over but Evans keeps him under control. Terror blocking the ground and pound attempt from Evans. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Evans is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Terror flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Terror thuds his right hand into Evans's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Terror tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Evans tries for a takedown but Terror circles away easily and Terror counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Evans looks gassed!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Terror bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Evans is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Terror is controlling him well. Terror lands a few punches from side control. Evans is looking to regain half guard here but Terror keeps moving and retains side control. Terror knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Evans on the ground. Check out the look on Terror's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Evans is trying to improve his position. Evans takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Terror cracks Evans with a big right hand but Evans just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Terror trying to control the position but Evans is working away. Terror lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Evans down.
Terror creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Terror lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Terror is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Terror in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Terror scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Evans to see if he's OK. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jonny Terror dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Nice takedown defense from Evans. No joy for Terror on that attempt. Evans gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Terror connects with a body shot. Evans feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Terror's calf. Evans tries to move into range but Terror moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. Evans on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Evans connects with a high kick. Terror tries to clinch up. Terror feints and as Evans raises his hands in defense, Terror changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Terror postures up in Evans's guard and throws a big left but Evans blocks it. Evans is breathing heavily. Terror looking to sit in guard and control but Evans gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Terror keeping moving, preventing Evans from controlling successfully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Evans is fighting to break Terror's control of his arms but Terror is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Terror wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position. Evans wants to control from the top but Terror keeps moving. Terror pulls Evans in close to his closed guard and prevents Evans from doing any damage or advancing position. Terror wants to stand and escape but Evans is having none of it. Terror is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Evans defends well. Evans throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Terror works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Evans closes the distance and lands a one-two. Percy Evans seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Terror fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Evans misses with a double jab
and Terror counters with a shoot takedown. Evans fights it but they end up in guard. Terror throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Evans is looking to stand up but Terror isn't so interested in that idea. Terror connects with a couple of short punches. Terror postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Evans keeping moving, preventing Terror from controlling successfully. Terror controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Terror wants to control from the top but Evans keeps moving. Evans pushes a forearm under Terror's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Terror is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
