Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Snake! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, lobo cipijs! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Sam Margolis and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! cipijs takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Snake lands with a cross.
It looks like lobo cipijs has been cut. Snake pushes cipijs up against the cage in a clinch. cipijs wants to break free but Snake has control.
cipijs wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
cipijs wants to get back to striking at distance but Snake won't allow it.
Snake prevents cipijs from breaking the clinch. Snake prevents cipijs from breaking the clinch. Snake lands a left hand that snaps the head of cipijs backwards. Snake has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but cipijs regains guard immediately. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snake is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. cipijs is looking to stand up but Snake isn't so interested in that idea. Snake with a nice head shot there. cipijs wants to stand but Snake is controlling the position. Snake stands up and waves to cipijs to follow him. Snake swings for the body but cipijs moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. cipijs wants to clinch and Snake counters by clinching up. Snake's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Snake throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
cipijs lands a head kick!
cipijs looks gassed! cipijs misses with a head kick.
Snake throws a shot to the body.
Snake has managed to clinch.
Snake tightens his grip and picks cipijs up, before dumping him to the ground. cipijs manages to land in guard. Snake stands and steps away. cipijs gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Jake Snake seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Snake closes the distance and clinches. Snake turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Snake manages to end up in side control. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Snake controlling the position. Snake working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Snake has hold of cipijs's arm. He's looking for a kimura. cipijs seems comfortable defending it but Snake has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! cipijs is real pain and he's forced to tap out! cipijs is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Snake couldn't care less - he's delighted!
