Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Leandro Rodrigues and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lover takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Lover throws the left hand but Brown avoids the punch easily.
Brown misses with a few strikes there.
Lover looks to throw the jab but Brown is out of range.
Lover throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Brown counters with a nice body shot.
A left and a right from Brown both land. Nice combination.
Brown throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Brown is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Lover throws a left and a right that both miss
and Brown cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lover.
Brown jabs at Lover's body.
Lover is breathing heavily.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A slow jab from Lover misses its intended target.
Brown scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nate Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brown showed some decent athleticism there.
Brown trying to control the pace.
Let's hope that Brown has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Brown tries to pass to full mount but Lover defends it.
Brown slows the pace down in half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Despite being in the dominant position, Nate Brown just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Brown's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Brown duly obliges.
Brown lands with an overhand left.
Brown drops Lover with a left and a right! Oh, Lover is hurt - Brown dives into side control looking to finish!
Lover is rocked!
Brown advances to full mount.
Oh Lover is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Brown raining down shots from the mount!
Lover takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Brown's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Brown!
