The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Campos tries a head kick but it misses.
Campos misses with a few strikes there.
Filho shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Campos as he avoids it easily.
Campos tries to clinch up but Filho circles away and keeps his distance.
Filho takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

and Campos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Campos throws a head kick that Filho semi-blocks.

It looks like Paulo Filho has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Horrible takedown by Campos or perhaps it was just good defense by Filho which made him look bad.
Filho tries to clinch up but Campos circles away and keeps his distance.
Campos fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Filho checks it well.

and Filho counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Campos is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Filho is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Campos is trying to control the position but Filho postures up.

Campos had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Filho defends it easily.
Campos is breathing heavily.

Filho drops back, looking for a kneebar! Campos looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Campos looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Campos!
Filho throws a couple of punches but he's in a bad position and they don't land.
Filho gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Filho working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Campos doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Filho is tightening it up a little... Campos has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Campos reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Campos taps out! nice BJJ there by Filho!
