Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kobay Gary (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Daniels (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Daniels has chosen Military Soviet Hymn as his entrance music. On his way into the cage it seems that Kobay Gary has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Kobay Gary seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kobay Gary! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jack Daniels! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Daniels throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Daniels throws a series of punches but Gary avoids them all with ease. Gary shoots in but no luck this time. Gary shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Daniels but Daniels pushes him off and we're back to square one. Gary misses with a few strikes there.

A punch combination from Daniels misses. Daniels stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kobay Gary. That's going to take a lot out of him. Gary throws a series of punches but Daniels moves out of range. Gary fails with the takedown. and Gary counters with a nice double leg into side control. Daniels won't be happy with that. Daniels is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Gary asserts his dominance and retains side control. Gary working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Gary is breathing heavily.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Daniels lunges at Gary with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Gary's hand. Daniels fails to land with a series of punches.
Gary shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Gary showed some decent athleticism there. Daniels is trying to stand up here but Gary is controlling him well. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Daniels can do anything to dispel that myth. Daniels is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Gary shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Daniels as he avoids it easily. Daniels displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination. Daniels lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gary moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Daniels will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Daniels rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gary moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Daniels throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Daniels misses with a double jab.

Gary seems to have got his legs back now. Danga de danga de dang - Daniels scores with a four punch combination! Daniels misses with a jab, cross combination.
Daniels lands with a nice body punch. Daniels wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Daniels dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Gary slips a jab and a cross from Daniels.
Gary on the wrong end of a nice hook. It's a brutal combination of punches from Daniels! Gary is backing up but he can't get away as Daniels lands with one final shot to the jaw that drops Gary and ends the fight. Great knockout.
