The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Valeri Chadov and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beckring throws a low kick, looking for Laffer's leg but Laffer calmly moves out of range.
Beckring waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Laffer.
Laffer shoots in for a takedown but Beckring shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Beckring stuffs the takedown.
Beckring throws an overhand right that lands on Laffer's shoulder, as Laffer tries to avoid the shot.
Beckring tries to bum rush Laffer with a series of wild strikes but Laffer uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Larry Laffer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Laffer tries to keep at a distance but Beckring has taken the fight into the clinch.
Beckring pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Laffer gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Laffer wants to take a breather but Beckring is having none of it.
Beckring might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Beckring tries to get to full guard but Laffer has control of the leg.
Laffer wants to work for an arm triangle but Beckring is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Laffer taking a breather but there's no such thing in a fight! Beckring has locked on to a kimura from the bottom - he uses it to sweep and is now looking to finish from the top position! He's got it! Laffer has tapped! Great work by Beckring! Lay and pray doesn't pay, kids! Just remember, you heard it here first.
