Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between El Raton Vaquero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maxwell Smart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maxwell Smart has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaquero fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Smart stuffs the takedown attempt from Vaquero. Vaquero gets slowly back to his feet.
Smart feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Smart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Smart can do anything to dispel that myth.

Vaquero is going olschool here, as he tries to force Smart to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Smart shrugs it off.
Smart looks out of his depth in this position - he's holding on tight.

Smart has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Vaquero is proving hard to escape from.
Smart is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Vaquero has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Smart is looking to defend but Vaquero has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Smart! Vaquero pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Smart taps out and this one is all over!
