Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Doug Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ambrose Kornikova (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hoo comes to the cage accompanied by None. The key to victory for Doug Hoo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hoo shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Hoo is working for a kimura but Kornikova is defending it quite comfortably.
Hoo looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kornikova with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hoo is just content to waste time from the top position. Kornikova takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Kornikova tries to strike from the bottom.
Kornikova really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hoo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kornikova working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hoo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hoo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Hoo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kornikova swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hoo is stalling in the full guard.

Kornikova has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Hoo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Kornikova.

Hoo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kornikova's guard.

Hoo drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Hoo as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Kornikova screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Hoo! Nice submission victory there!
