Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Jab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shene Silas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marvin Jab has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marvin Jab! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Shene Silas! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Daniel Blasius and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Silas tries to clinch but Jab is having none of it. Silas shoots in for a takedown but Jab shows good takedown defense. Jab closes the distance and lands a one-two. Jab fails to land with a series of punches.
Jab ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Silas moves away. Silas fails in his attempt to clinch. Silas is looking to clinch. Silas dives in and grabs Jab's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jab pushes down on Silas's head and hops out. Jab wants to clinch and Silas counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Jab is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Silas is aware though and is defending well. Jab is looking for a triangle here but Silas uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Jab is breathing heavily. Jab manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silas slips a nice elbow through Jab's hands, connecting with Jab's forehead.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silas looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Jab looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Silas pushes past his half guard into mount! Silas working Jab over with strikes here. Silas trying to control but Jab is having none of it. Silas sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Silas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Jab turns into him and now he's in Silas's guard.
Silas kicks Jab off and gets to his feet.

Silas closes the distance looking to clinch and Jab makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Silas really felt that one! Silas shoots in for a takedown but Jab shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Marvin Jab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shene Silas. Jab avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Silas scores a nice knee to the body.
Silas tries to score a body lock takedown but Jab shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Silas has clasped his hands together around Jab's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Jab is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Silas has just dragged him back down to the mat. Silas cracks Jab with an elbow. That is naaassty. Jab wants to get back to his feet but Silas drags him back down. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Silas wants to control but Jab is keeping him busy. Jab wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Jab tries to bench press Silas off him but Silas keeps the position. Jab trying to remain calm as Silas controls from the top position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Silas tries to clinch up but Jab circles away and keeps his distance. Silas shoots in but no luck this time. Silas misses with a takedown attempt and Jab moves into the clinch. Silas breaks from the clinch.
Silas closes the distance but Jab moves to the side and Jab counters with a three punch combo that has Silas backing up. Silas nods at Jab to acknowledge the strikes. Jab misses with a combination
so Silas counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Jab looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Silas must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Silas trying to control the position from guard on top but Jab is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Silas is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shene Silas dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jab tries to clinch up. Jab wants to clinch and Silas counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jab taking a breather. Silas is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jab's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Silas keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Silas shoots in for a double leg but Jab sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Silas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Silas is looking to take this fight into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Silas closes the distance looking to clinch and Jab counters by moving into the clinch. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Jab stalling against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Silas takes a swing at Jab's ribcage but misses. Silas rushes Jab and presses him up against the cage. Silas breaks the clinch.
Silas fails to land the takedown. Marvin Jab has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Shene Silas. Silas gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Silas is trying to drag Jab to the mat but Jab just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Jab wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Come on Jab - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Jab tries to break the clinch but Silas is controlling the position. Silas's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Jab tries to close the distance and clinch up but Silas swats him away and circles back towards the center.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silas misses with a takedown and Jab counters with a lovely shot to the body. Jab changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Silas showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jab.
Silas gets in close and instigates a clinch. Silas tries to pull guard but Jab won't allow it.

Shene Silas has got the better of the ground game so far. Silas has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jab can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jab will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Jab thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jab is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Silas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Silas has escaped and now he's on top! Silas looking to pass the guard. Jab had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silas is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Jab Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silas's back instead. Jab looking for the choke but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jab patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Silas rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
The fighters are battling for position here. Silas manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Silas striking off his back but it's not causing Jab any problems. Jab wants to stand and escape but instead Silas has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Shene Silas showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silas. Silas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Jab as he jumps to the side. Jab throws a head kick but Silas moves out of range.

Silas gets the takedown into side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jab is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Silas asserts his dominance and retains side control. Silas tries to advance to mount but Jab instead regains half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab is trying to escape back to his feet but Silas uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Silas working the body and head with strikes. Silas working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Silas goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Jab has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Silas but great work by Jab. That's four minutes gone in the round. Silas looking for a takedown. Jab keeps control of Silas as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Jab lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

Jab is pushing Silas up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Silas effectively controlling the action here. Marvin Jab has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silas pulls guard successfully.
Jab drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jab jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Silas has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Jab got a little sloppy there for a moment and Silas has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jab has managed to get both his arms back between Silas's legs - danger averted.
And that's the end of the fight! Marvin Jab showed his dominance in that final round. I think Silas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
