Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Clotaire Morel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kenbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clotaire Morel!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kenbo Slice!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Joseph Jones and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morel misses with a jab, cross combination.
Morel throws a series of punches but Slice moves out of range.
Morel closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Morel is nestled in close to Slice, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Slice tries to roll over but Morel keeps him under control.
Morel stops Slice from getting back to his feet.
Morel moves nicely into side control.
Slice stops Morel from passing to mount.
Morel lands a few punches from side control.
Morel tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Slice parries the strikes from Morel easily there. Morel is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Slice to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Slice is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Slice looks gassed!
Slice has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Morel is working away from the top position though.
Slice tries to kick Morel off but Morel keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Morel slows the pace down in half guard.
Morel in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Slice tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Morel!
