PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Morgan Kismet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Scott Razzman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Morgan Kismet has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Morgan Kismet seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Razzman tries to clinch up but Kismet circles away and keeps his distance.
Razzman blocks a head kick by Kismet.
Kismet shoots in but Razzman avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Kismet throws a head kick that misses.
Razzman takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Razzman avoids a kick to the body.

Razzman shoots in and bounces Kismet off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Razzman stays in close to Kismet's body and controls the position.
Razzman cracks Kismet with a solid left hand.
Razzman wants to control from the top but Kismet keeps moving.
Razzman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Razzman has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Kismet pushes Razzman off and scrambles back to his feet.
Kismet throws a head kick but Razzman moves out of range.
Kismet misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Razzman tries for a takedown but Kismet circles away easily
and Kismet counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Razzman is lucky that one didn't land flush.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Razzman moves out of range of the body kick from Kismet.
Kismet keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Razzman avoids the head kick by Kismet.
Horrible takedown by Kismet or perhaps it was just good defense by Razzman which made him look bad.
Kismet is breathing heavily.
Razzman throws a front kick aimed at Kismet's knee but Kismet avoids it well.
Kismet fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Morgan Kismet. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kismet tries a head kick but it misses.
Razzman closes the distance and clinches up with Kismet, looking for a takedown. Razzman pushes Kismet against the cage but Kismet circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Razzman feints and as Kismet raises his hands in defense, Razzman changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Kismet keeping moving, preventing Razzman from controlling successfully.
Kismet is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Kismet is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Razzman is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Razzman gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Kismet misses with a head kick.
Whack! Kismet lands a heavy head kick that drops Razzman. The ref tackles Kismet to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Razzman was done.
