Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Escobar Alexander (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alexander comes into the arena with Let it Rock- Kevin Rudolf blaring out of the sound system. Escobar Alexander has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Tyson! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, James Glass and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Alexander dodges the punch combination from Tyson.
Alexander rushes Tyson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Tyson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Alexander tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Alexander bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tyson's guard. Alexander postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Alexander seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Alexander will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Alexander gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson looks to land a combination but Alexander avoids it well. Alexander closes the distance and clinches. Alexander pulls guard. Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Alexander. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Alexander has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Tyson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Alexander on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alexander tries to get out of the position. Tyson wants to stand but Alexander has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alexander pushes Tyson off and scrambles back to his feet.
Tyson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexander moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Tyson looks gassed! Tyson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Alexander keeps control of Tyson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Tyson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Tyson is looking to stand up but Alexander won't let him. Alexander looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Alexander controls Tyson momentarily but Tyson frees himself. Alexander is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Alexander tries to pass the half guard into mount. Tyson knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Alexander looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Tyson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Tyson wants to stand back up but Alexander manages to pass into side control.
Alexander decides to take the fight back to the feet. Tyson looks to land a combination but Alexander avoids it well. Alexander instigates a clinch. Alexander has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Tyson avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A right hook to the body lands for Alexander.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Alexander pulls guard.

Tyson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Tyson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Tyson would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Alexander trying to keep a closed guard but Tyson is proving a slippery customer.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Alexander will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Alexander digs a good body shot into Tyson's ribs. Mike Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tyson throws a right and a left that Alexander avoids nicely. Alexander has taken the fight to the clinch.

Alexander is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Tyson wants to get back to striking at distance but Alexander won't allow it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Alexander shoots in for a takedown but Tyson shows good takedown defense. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Escobar Alexander. That's going to take a lot out of him. Alexander avoids a punch combination nicely.

Alexander pivots and extends the arm, Tyson falls face first to the mat and taps??... does he?? YES! He's tapping! Excellent counter grappling there by Alexander! Well done that man!
