Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mason Sutherland (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mason Sutherland! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dave Williams! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sutherland looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Sutherland sitting in guard, not really doing much. Sutherland looking to pass the guard. Sutherland throwing strikes but missing. Williams keeping full guard, as Sutherland tries to pass. Williams trying to control the position.
Williams lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Sutherland!
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sutherland is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sutherland and Williams has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Sutherland is trying to improve his position. Williams wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sutherland, who protects the arm well. Sutherland is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Sutherland wants to improve his position but Williams is controlling well.
Williams is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Sutherland sees it coming and defends easily. Williams is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Sutherland as he works his way to full guard.
Williams looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Sutherland is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Sutherland manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Sutherland throws a right and a left that Williams avoids nicely. Williams blocks a head kick by Sutherland.

and Sutherland counters with a nice low kick that buckles Williams's knee momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sutherland shoots in for a takedown but Williams shows good takedown defense. Sutherland misses with a head kick.
Sutherland shoots in but no luck this time. Williams clinches but Sutherland breaks the clinch and Sutherland counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Williams! Williams can't escape the position.
Williams manages to work a leg through to get back to half guard here. Good work there by Williams, under a barage of strikes from Sutherland.
Williams wants to get back to full guard. Sutherland trying to control from Williams's half guard. Williams has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Williams wants to sweep here but Sutherland controlling him for the moment. Sutherland throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sutherland stands up from Williams's guard - Sutherland perhaps looking for a knockout. Sutherland explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Williams tries to close the distance and clinch but Sutherland swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Williams displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Sutherland. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Sutherland. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams misses with a few strikes there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mason Sutherland dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Williams doesn't succeed with the takedown and Sutherland counters with a takedown into side control. Sutherland is trying to ground and pound but Williams uses the momentary lack of control by Sutherland to regain half guard. Williams is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Sutherland wants to work for an arm triangle but Williams is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Sutherland seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Williams does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Williams wants to get back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sutherland is trying for a kimura here. Williams looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sutherland wins by kimura!
