Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Study McKo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Aubrey Peaslee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Aubrey Peaslee is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Study McKo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aubrey Peaslee! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peaslee stuffs the takedown attempt from McKo. McKo gets slowly back to his feet. Peaslee looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! McKo wants to clinch up but Peaslee keeps it at a distance. Peaslee scores with a takedown into McKo's guard. McKo is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Peaslee trying to control the position from guard on top but McKo is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. McKo is looking for a triangle but Peaslee pushes his legs off easily.
McKo is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Peaslee is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. McKo looking for a sweep. Not yet McKo, not yet. McKo is working hard here to advance position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. McKo has his takedown stuffed so Peaslee counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. McKo is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. McKo trying to keep a closed guard but Peaslee is proving a slippery customer.
Peaslee won't allow McKo to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peaslee stopping the sweep attempt from McKo. McKo is working an open guard so Peaslee takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Study McKo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peaslee keeps the fight on the outside. McKo tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Peaslee holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Peaslee stops a takedown attempt from McKo.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Study McKo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Peaslee tries to circle away but McKo has him pinned against the cage.

Horrible takedown by McKo or perhaps it was just good defense by Peaslee which made him look bad. McKo shoots in for a double leg but Peaslee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. McKo drives through and clinches with Peaslee against the cage.
McKo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. McKo shoots in for a takedown but Peaslee shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. McKo closes the distance and clinches up with Peaslee, looking for a takedown. McKo pushes Peaslee against the cage but Peaslee circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Peaslee has McKo up against the cage in a clinch.
McKo prevents Peaslee from breaking the clinch. McKo pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Peaslee drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peaslee gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McKo has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Peaslee off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. McKo throws a sloppy head kick and Peaslee moves out of range easily. McKo tries to clinch but Peaslee moves away and Peaslee counters with a left and a right that stings McKo. McKo bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Peaslee can't do much from the bottom here. McKo misses with the ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Aubrey Peaslee dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Peaslee is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
McKo clinches but Peaslee breaks the clinch and Peaslee counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for McKo! Peaslee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McKo is looking to escape. Peaslee looking to ground and pound but McKo is blocking nicely. Peaslee prevents McKo from getting the reversal. Peaslee looking to control but McKo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McKo holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Peaslee tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKo sneaks a leg under to get to half guard. Peaslee is breathing heavily. McKo is looking to improve his position.
McKo keeping hold of Peaslee's head, controlling as best he can. Peaslee trying to control the action but McKo is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McKo wants to get back to full guard. McKo is trying to stand.
Peaslee trying to control from half guard but McKo is working away.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. McKo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. McKo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Peaslee is looking to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McKo working away from the top, dropping strikes. Peaslee is trying to escape the mount.
McKo looking to finish Peaslee with some ground and pound. This is bad for Peaslee! McKo lands with some strikes. A nice elbow there by McKo. McKo looking to control but Peaslee is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. McKo with the ground and pound from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McKo tries to control but Peaslee wriggling away. Peaslee in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. McKo is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Peaslee has managed to escape the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Peaslee can do anything to dispel that myth. McKo is working for a guillotine from mount but Peaslee frees his head quite easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Study McKo will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

He's got his arms around Peaslee's waist but Peaslee gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McKo off to one side. McKo drives through and clinches with Peaslee against the cage.

McKo keeps control of Peaslee as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. McKo has Peaslee pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. McKo breaks from the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Peaslee punching from mount but McKo doing a good job of avoiding damage. Peaslee swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and McKo is now in Peaslee's guard. A big mistake from Peaslee there, giving up the dominant position! Peaslee trying to keep a closed guard but McKo is proving a slippery customer.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as McKo accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. McKo wants to control from the top but Peaslee keeps moving.
And that's the end of the fight! Aubrey Peaslee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Peaslee has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
