Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fabio Lima (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Roshan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lima comes to the ring accompanied by Enter Sandman, Metallica. Damian Roshan acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roshan tries to keep at a distance but Lima has taken the fight into the clinch.
Roshan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Lima lands a knee to the body.

Lima breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Roshan works Lima's body with a nice hook.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Lima has closed the distance and engaged Roshan in a clinch.
Lima throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Roshan blocks it with crossed arms.

Roshan wants to get back to striking at distance but Lima won't allow it.

Lima working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Roshan doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Roshan manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Roshan is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Lima defends it well.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.

Lima has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Roshan is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Lima.

Lima wants to get back to his feet but Roshan drags him back down.

Lima had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Roshan is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Lima Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Roshan's back instead.

Lima is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Roshan knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Roshan for a finish.

Roshan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Lima gets his way!

Roshan looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Lima is working for the choke. I would put my money on him to finish from this position. He's rolled onto his back and has dragged Roshan with him. Roshan is trying to defend but Lima has an arm under the chin now! Roshan grimaces and is forced to tap out!
