Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between nick daley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Puder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Puder is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Composure- August Burns Red. Daniel Puder is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel Puder! The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Reed Andrews and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! daley shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. daley is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Puder is surviving well by controlling daley's body position as best he can. Puder is trying to stand up. daley jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Puder is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Puder and daley has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed daley's guard. daley looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Puder looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. daley drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. daley goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Puder has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for daley but great work by Puder. daley is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Puder off and has taken his back! Puder controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position. daley tries to get the hooks in deep but Puder pushed the leg off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Puder is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if daley gets his way!
Puder defends a prolonged rear naked choke attempt and turns nicely into his opponent's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. daley is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Puder defends well. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Puder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. daley escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Puder gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Puder tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - daley cranks the arm and Puder screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Puder, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
