Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rupert Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Wikstrom (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wallace's entrance music is Marshawn Lynch. A fine choice. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rupert Wallace! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Simon Wikstrom! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wikstrom misses with a takedown attempt - Wallace sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Wallace closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Wallace lands in his opponent's guard. Wikstrom trying to keep a closed guard but Wallace is proving a slippery customer.
Wallace might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Wallace makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Wikstrom is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Wikstrom working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Wallace has passed into half guard!
Wallace takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wikstrom gets full guard. Wikstrom throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Wallace passes easily into side control. Nice work. Wallace looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Wikstrom is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Wallace tries to move into full mount but can't pass Wikstrom's legs. Wallace has knee on belly and moves into mount. Wallace content just to control the position here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wikstrom is looking to get to half guard. Wallace has hold of Wikstrom's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wikstrom manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Wikstrom is trying to escape the mount.
Wallace takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wallace lands a heavy elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wikstrom is squirming around, avoiding Wallace's attempts to control the action. Wikstrom wants to control but Wallace is having none of it. Wallace is in the full mount, landing strikes. Wikstrom looks gassed! Wikstrom is looking to improve his position but Wallace isn't that keen on the idea. Wikstrom takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. Wallace working for a guillotine from mount but Wikstrom is in no mood to give up. Wallace landing shots from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wikstrom tries to lock up and control but Wallace gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Wallace landing punches. Wallace swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
