Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christopher Archangel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anderson Silvizzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Christopher Archangel has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Christopher Archangel seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Archangel tries to bum rush Silvizzle with a series of wild strikes but Silvizzle uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Silvizzle throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
It looks like Christopher Archangel has been cut.
Archangel gets the takedown into side control.
An elbow from Archangel crashes against the mat.
Archangel is chipping away with strikes.
Silvizzle struggling a bit here.
Archangel wants to control but Silvizzle is keeping him busy.
Silvizzle tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Archangel gets to mount! Silvizzle was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

Archangel has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Silvizzle is looking to improve his position but Archangel isn't that keen on the idea.

Archangel is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Silvizzle has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Silvizzle!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Archangel pulls Silvizzle in close to his closed guard and prevents Silvizzle from doing any damage or advancing position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Archangel had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Silvizzle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Archangel Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Silvizzle's back instead.

Silvizzle preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Archangel.
Silvizzle really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Archangel. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Archangel is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Silvizzle has escaped the position, nice work there.
Archangel has hold of Silvizzle's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Silvizzle tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Archangel cranks the arm and Silvizzle screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Silvizzle, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
