Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Garry Pickswittle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herman Wiliam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Garry Pickswittle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Herman Wiliam! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Eliza Hachem and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wiliam closes this distance looking for a takedown but Pickswittle circles away. Pickswittle keeps the fight on the outside. Wiliam moves in looking to clinch but Pickswittle pushes him off. Pickswittle closes the distance and pushes Wiliam back into the cage. Wiliam is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Pickswittle fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Pickswittle is trying to break the clinch but Wiliam has him pressed against the cage. Pickswittle tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Wiliam smiles and moves away.
Wiliam fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Pickswittle avoids it really well and circles away. Wiliam clinches but Pickswittle breaks the clinch and Pickswittle counters by clinching up. Pickswittle's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Pickswittle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Wiliam to score an easy takedown into full guard. Pickswittle is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Wiliam is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickswittle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pickswittle is wriggling around but Wiliam manages to pass to half guard.
Pickswittle wants to get back to his feet. Pickswittle is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Pickswittle pushes Wiliam off but Wiliam dives into side control.
Wiliam remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Pickswittle is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Wiliam asserts his dominance and retains side control. Wiliam taking a breather here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiliam prevents Pickswittle from escaping the position. Wiliam controls the position from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Pickswittle pushes Wiliam away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Wiliam gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Wiliam content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Pickswittle wants to get back to his feet. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wiliam controlling from side mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herman Wiliam dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wiliam tries to clinch up and Pickswittle counters with a two punch combo. Wiliam shoots in but no luck this time. Pickswittle has his takedown stuffed and Wiliam counters with a nice double leg into guard. Wiliam prevents Pickswittle from getting back to his feet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pickswittle is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Wiliam dives into side control.
Pickswittle tries to escape but Wiliam is in control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pickswittle trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Wiliam controlling the position from side mount. Pickswittle wants to get back to his feet but Wiliam drags him back down.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wiliam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pickswittle tries to avoid it but Wiliam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pickswittle to the ground. Pickswittle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Pickswittle scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Wiliam avoids a kick to the body.
Wiliam shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pickswittle is trying to defend but Wiliam finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wiliam prevents Pickswittle from standing back up.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiliam is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Pickswittle instigates a clinch. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Wiliam obliges. Pickswittle blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Wiliam pulls guard. Pickswittle tries to stand but Wiliam is controlling from the bottom. Wiliam had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pickswittle is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Wiliam Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pickswittle's back instead.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pickswittle wants to get back to his feet. I would not like to be Pickswittle right now.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herman Wiliam showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Pickswittle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Pickswittle misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pickswittle closes the distance and clinches. A right handed body shot lands from Wiliam.
Wiliam breaks from the clinch.
Good standup being displayed there by Pickswittle as he connects with a hook. Wiliam has Pickswittle up against the cage in a clinch.
Pickswittle is trying to force a seperation but Wiliam has the dominant position. Wiliam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Pickswittle is trying to stand up here but Wiliam is controlling him well. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Pickswittle wants to stand back up but Wiliam manages to pass into side control.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Wiliam lands with a kick to the temple. Pickswittle shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wiliam doesn't manage to clinch there - Pickswittle circles away.
Wiliam on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wiliam leaves Pickswittle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pickswittle throws a hook but Wiliam avoids it easily. Wiliam shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Excellent takedown into side control there by Pickswittle. Pickswittle tries to stand but Wiliam is controlling his head. Wiliam tries to buck Pickswittle off but Pickswittle is having none of it. Pickswittle blocks the strikes from Wiliam.
Wiliam is looking for a sweep.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wiliam sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wiliam missing with punches from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Wiliam tries to clinch up. Wiliam tries to clinch but fails miserably and Wiliam takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Wiliam gets the takedown into side control. Wiliam controlling from side mount. Pickswittle wants to get back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Herman Wiliam comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Wiliam winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
