Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Drew Brower (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rocky Balboa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Drew Brower! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rocky Balboa! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Balboa misses with a wild combination.
Brower could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Balboa fails to land with a series of punches.

Balboa stalks Brower and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Brower's face. Brower staggers backwards, shaken. Balboa keeps the fight on the outside. Balboa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Balboa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Balboa looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Balboa tries to bum rush Brower with a series of wild strikes but Brower uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Balboa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Balboa scores with a one two! Brower had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Brower looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brower wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Balboa is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Brower wants to control from the top but Balboa keeps moving. Brower controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Brower advances position into side control!
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Brower sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Balboa is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Balboa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brower. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Balboa is not content to let Brower control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Brower working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Brower is breathing heavily. Balboa is not content to let Brower control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Balboa is trying to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Balboa can do anything to dispel that myth. Brower trying to control the action but Balboa is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Balboa lands with an overhand left. Balboa lands a left and a right that send Brower crashing to the mat, dazed. Balboa thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! Balboa thuds a left hand into Brower's body. Balboa connects with a stiff jab that staggers Brower - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Rocky Balboa!
