Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Cook!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Maverick Heath!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, William Gold and Paul Tew.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cook fails with an attempt to clinch.
Heath is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cook looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Cook wants to clinch up but Heath keeps it at a distance.
Cook misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Heath keeps the fight on the outside.
Cook misses with a hook. Heath ducked under it nicely.
Heath circles away from the clinch attempt.

Cook scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Cook trying to control the position but Heath is working away.
Heath tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Heath is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Heath manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Heath is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Heath seems to be looking for submissions.
Cook missing with punches from the bottom.
Cook moves into full guard.
Cook throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.

Heath got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cook has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Heath has managed to get both his arms back between Cook's legs - danger averted.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Heath postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cook wants to stand but Heath is controlling the position.
Cook is breathing heavily.
Heath trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Heath drops back looking for a leg! Cook is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Cook manages to kick Heath off! Heath jumps back into Cook's guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Cook gets a takedown into half guard.
Heath is pressing down on Cook's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Heath escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Cook gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Cook has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Heath is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cook defends well.
Cook wants to control from the top but Heath keeps moving.

Heath has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Cook doesn't defend quickly enough and Heath has managed to lock this one up! Can Cook escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Heath on a fantastic submission victory.
