Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Khen Aranico (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nyk Siuh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Siuh has chosen Samurai Storm as his entrance music. Khen Aranico had a look across the ring there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Khen Aranico!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nyk Siuh!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Shirou Masuda and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Siuh swats away the attempt to clinch by Aranico.
Aranico bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Aranico stands up.
Aranico throws a body kick that misses.
Siuh avoids the head kick by Aranico.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Aranico.
Siuh shoots and misses
and Aranico counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Siuh!

Siuh is looking to improve his position but Aranico isn't that keen on the idea.
A nice elbow there by Aranico.
Siuh tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Aranico is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Siuh can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Siuh can't escape the position.
Siuh slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Aranico has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Aranico looking to control but Siuh is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Siuh tries to hold on but Aranico pushes him away.
Siuh is trying to escape the mount.

Aranico lands a nice shot to the head.
Siuh tries to hold on but Aranico postures up.
Aranico putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!
Aranico connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Siuh working to try and regain half guard.
Siuh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.
It looks like Aranico is going to stand back up.
Aranico looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Siuh actively working from the bottom here.

Siuh moves into full guard.

Siuh is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Aranico gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Siuh dodges the punch combination from Aranico.
Aranico fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Siuh sprawls well initially but Aranico persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Aranico wants to stand up but Siuh is controlling the position.
Siuh is looking to improve his position.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Aranico wants to pass the guard but Siuh is defending well.
Siuh tries to get to full guard but Aranico has control of the leg.
Siuh actively working from the bottom here.
Aranico throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Aranico working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Aranico is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Aranico waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Siuh.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Khen Aranico dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Some wild striking there from Aranico.
Aranico feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Aranico is sitting in close to Siuh's body. Siuh has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Aranico is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Aranico is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Siuh.
