Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Don Quixote (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jigaro Kano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kano has chosen the zepher song as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Don Quixote! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jigaro Kano! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Quixote is looking to clinch but Kano is avoiding it.
Quixote is looking to clinch. Quixote is looking to clinch. Quixote tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Kano paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kano shoots for a takedown but Quixote saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Quixote scores with a three punch combo!
Kano tries to clinch and Quixote moves into the clinch. Kano blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Quixote gets underhooks to prevent Kano's takedown attempt.
A battle for position here, against the ropes. Kano takes an elbow to the temple.
It looks like Jigaro Kano has been cut. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Kano just misses with a elbow thrown towards Quixote's brow. Kano keeps control of Quixote as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Quixote comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Quixote utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body. Kano pulls guard. Kano controls Quixote momentarily but Quixote frees himself. Quixote trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kano's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kano keeping moving, preventing Quixote from controlling successfully. Quixote wants to get up but he can't break Kano's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Quixote stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kano swivels though and keeps the full guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kano holds on and takes a little breather. Kano bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Quixote's guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Quixote keeping full guard, as Kano tries to pass. Quixote throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Kano wants to control from the top but Quixote keeps moving. Quixote has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kano off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Quixote circles away from the clinch attempt.
Quixote stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Quixote wants it to stay on the feet. Don Quixote has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jigaro Kano. A left and a right from Quixote both land. Nice combination. Kano looks gassed! Quixote tries to clinch but fails miserably and Kano decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Quixote's guard. Quixote looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Kano pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Quixote is keeping the position for now. Quixote avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Kano stops Quixote from standing up. Kano got a little sloppy there for a moment and Quixote has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kano has managed to get both his arms back between Quixote's legs - danger averted. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Quixote looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Quixote keeping full guard, as Kano tries to pass. Quixote tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kano drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Kano seems to have locked his on tight now - Quixote screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Kano, as he picks up the win!
