The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harrison throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Harrison moves out of range as East strikes.
Harrison throws the left hand but East avoids the punch easily.
East throws a nice outside leg kick.
Nick East seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Harrison takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
East throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Harrison avoids the head kick by East.
Harrison misses the shot to the body.
Harrison stuffs the takedown attempt from East. East gets slowly back to his feet.
Harrison wants to land a leg kick but East is out of range.
Harrison shoots in for a double leg but East sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

The crowd cheers as East lands an impressive looking overhand right. Harrison doesn't seem phased though.
East throws a shot from downtown. Harrison moves away and avoids it.
East displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Harrison throws out the jab.
East looks to land a right hand but Harrison moved out of range.
Harrison ducks down and throws a hook to the body but East moves away.

East shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Harrison is trying to defend but East finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
East forces his way into half guard.
Harrison blocking the ground and pound attempt from East.
East has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
East misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Harrison tries to hold on but East pushes him away.

East is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Harrison has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Harrison!

East lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Harrison!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

East throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Harrison throws a body punch but East moves out of range.
East throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Harrison waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract East.
East bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Harrison's head backwards.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by East.

The fighters circling - Harrison throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
East throws a quick inside leg kick.
East keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
East throws a lazy right hand but Harrison sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
East shoots in looking for a takedown. Harrison tries to sprawl out of it but East keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harrison manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
East is breathing heavily.

Harrison closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Harrison wants to control but East is keeping him busy.

Harrison has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of East's face.

East is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Harrison lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Harrison is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Harrison had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. East defends it easily.

That was a close second round but I would say that John Harrison will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Harrison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has East pinned against the cage. East gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Nick East comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well East has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
