Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Slobodan Hamsik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and kamal ansari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). kamal ansari is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Patrick Alders and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ansari tries to score a power double leg takedown but Hamsik sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten ansari somewhat.
Hamsik doesn't manage to clinch there - ansari circles away.
Hamsik moves in looking to clinch but ansari pushes him off.
ansari shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hamsik sprawls well. Hamsik wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. ansari gets slowly back to his feet.

Hamsik lands a really nice looking cross but ansari seems unphased.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hamsik is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but ansari has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hamsik is looking to defend but ansari has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hamsik! ansari pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hamsik taps out and this one is all over!
