The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardonk darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Hardonk is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Hardonk is looking to advance position but McTwist won't allow it.
Hardonk lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Hardonk throwing shots but McTwist is blocking nicely.

Hardonk has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if McTwist can do anything to dispel that myth.

Hardonk has hold of McTwist's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! McTwist tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Hardonk cranks the arm and McTwist screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from McTwist, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
