Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Brizenick Chagaus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erick Martinez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chagaus throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Chagaus wants to clinch.
Brizenick Chagaus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chagaus fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Martinez, pushing him back against the cage.
Chagaus breaks from the clinch.
Chagaus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Martinez but Martinez pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Chagaus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Martinez's waist but Chagaus gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chagaus off to one side.

Martinez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Martinez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Chagaus as he avoids it easily.

and Martinez counters with a leg kick.
Martinez swats away the attempt to clinch by Chagaus.

Martinez gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Chagaus.
Chagaus breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Chagaus shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Chagaus stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Martinez misses with a takedown attempt - Chagaus sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chagaus doesn't manage to clinch there - Martinez circles away.

Martinez is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Chagaus gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

and Chagaus counters with a nice double leg into side control. Martinez won't be happy with that.
Martinez manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Martinez stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Chagaus to get to his feet.
Martinez moves in looking to clinch but Chagaus pushes him off.
Martinez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Chagaus pinned against the cage. Chagaus gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Martinez fails with a takedown attempt.
Brizenick Chagaus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Erick Martinez.

Martinez is looking to slow Chagaus down with leg kicks.

Chagaus connects with a crisp jab.
Chagaus clinches but Martinez breaks the clinch
and Martinez cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Chagaus goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Chagaus dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Martinez. That did some damage!
Chagaus closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Martinez is rocked!
Martinez can't do much from the bottom here.
Martinez is still on wobbly legs! Can Chagaus finish him?
Chagaus looks up at the clock and then as Martinez takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Chagaus smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Chagaus decides to stand back up. Chagaus steps back and let's Martinez get back to his feet.
Martinez avoids a kick to the body.
A big right followed by a crushing left from Chagaus knocks Martinez out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
