Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dec Nsoni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kurt Angle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Angle's choice of entrance music: DMX - Get It On The Floor (instrumental). Dec Nsoni had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dec Nsoni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kurt Angle! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Angle fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Angle lands a left and a right that send Nsoni crashing to the mat, dazed. Angle thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Nsoni is rocked!
It looks like Dec Nsoni has been cut. Angle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Oh Nsoni is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nsoni is looking to stand up but Angle isn't so interested in that idea. Nsoni seems to have got his legs back now. Nsoni preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Angle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Let's hope that Angle has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Angle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Nsoni wants to stand and escape but Angle is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Angle is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angle thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Nsoni wants to stand up but Angle is controlling him. Nsoni knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Angle on the ground. Nsoni trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Angle is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Angle postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Nsoni wants to get back to his feet but Angle is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Angle looking to pass the guard. Angle controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Despite being in the dominant position, Kurt Angle just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Angle circles away from the clinch attempt.
Nsoni tries to clinch up but Angle circles away and keeps his distance. Nsoni tries to close the distance and clinch but Angle swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Angle drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Angle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Nsoni wants to stand up but Angle is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Angle controlling from the top position. Angle's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kurt Angle dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dec Nsoni's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Nsoni tries to clinch there but Angle circles away.
Nsoni gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Angle to score an easy takedown into full guard. Nsoni is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Angle controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's one minute gone in the round. Angle lands a couple of decent looking shots. Angle sitting in guard here, content to control. Angle drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Angle jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Angle postures up and lands a big shot to Nsoni's brow. Angle drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Nsoni manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Angle has Nsoni in his guard. Nsoni has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Angle is proving hard to escape from.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Angle is looking for a triangle but Nsoni pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Angle is breathing heavily. Angle working a defensive guard here.
Nsoni wants to get up but he can't break Angle's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Angle looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Nsoni wants to stand and escape but instead Angle has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angle wants to pass the guard but Nsoni is keeping the position. Nsoni wants to stand and escape but Angle is having none of it. Nsoni keeping moving, preventing Angle from controlling successfully. Nsoni can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Angle controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Angle closes the distance and clinches up with Nsoni, looking for a takedown. Angle pushes Nsoni against the cage but Nsoni circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Nsoni is looking to clinch. No luck for Angle with that takedown attempt. Dec Nsoni has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kurt Angle. The fight stays on the outside here - Nsoni looks like he's thinking about clinching though. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nice cross by Nsoni. Nsoni throws a nice head kick!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Kurt Angle will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Dec Nsoni's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Nsoni moves in looking to clinch but Angle pushes him off. Nsoni tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Angle paws at him with a jab and circles away. Angle fails with a takedown attempt. Nsoni paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Angle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Angle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Nsoni tries to buck Angle off but he can't manage it. Angle looking to control and managing it successfully. Nsoni's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Angle content just to control the position here. Angle working for a guillotine from mount but Nsoni is in no mood to give up. Nsoni is trying to stand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Angle sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Nsoni tries to buck Angle off but he can't manage it. Angle punishing his opponent with strikes. The referee warns Nsoni that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Nsoni defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Angle. Kurt Angle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Angle takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Angle goes for an armbar but Nsoni turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Nsoni. Nsoni has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Angle is looking for a triangle here but Nsoni uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.
Nsoni tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Angle holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Nsoni wants to stand but Angle has him controlled and pulls him back into his guard. Angle is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dec Nsoni has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Angle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nsoni is aware though and is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Kurt Angle comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Angle has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
