Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jon The Blanket!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dylan Petersen!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The Blanket scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The Blanket stops Petersen from getting back to his feet.
Petersen trying to hold on to The Blanket's head to control him but The Blanket postures up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

The Blanket feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The Blanket closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Petersen did well to prevent The Blanket getting side control.

The Blanket is nestled in close to Petersen, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Petersen is trying to defend against the ground and pound but The Blanket scores with a couple of nice shots.

Petersen gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows The Blanket to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Petersen wants to stand and escape but The Blanket is having none of it.
The Blanket stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Petersen swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Petersen is pressing down on The Blanket's thigh, looking to free his foot. The Blanket is holding on for now.
The Blanket on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if The Blanket tries to get out of the position.

Petersen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Petersen is looking to pass The Blanket's guard but actually The Blanket recovers to full guard.

The Blanket looks for a takedown but Petersen sprawls well.
Petersen rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but The Blanket moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as The Blanket accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
