The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turner avoids the head kick by sweeney.
Turner shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts sweeney as he jumps to the side.
Turner circles away from the clinch attempt.
sweeney throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Turner throws a head kick but sweeney moves out of range.
Turner defending well as sweeney loads up on a big left hand.
Turner misses with a wild combination.
sweeney scores with a head kick.
sweeney gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
It looks like adam sweeney has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Turner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in sweeney's half guard.
Turner blocks the strikes from sweeney.
Turner moves into full mount! sweeney won't be happy about that!
Turner is working for a guillotine from mount but sweeney frees his head quite easily.
Turner lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

sweeney is wriggling around trying to escape.
Turner has control of sweeney's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and sweeney regains control of the situation pretty easily.
sweeney tries to lock up and control but Turner gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turner is in the full mount, landing strikes.
sweeney is rocked!
Turner working for a submission but sweeney is keeping him at bay.
sweeney is still in real trouble! Can Turner finish him?
Turner is breathing heavily.
Turner cracks sweeney with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
